What do u guys think about if i create a BB specifically for Open Source use ..... with easy to use Template Customisation and what not :)

Please post what features you'd like and what programming languages you'd like the board done in ....

PHP will be the first board release :classic2:

Bad idea. Just as long as its as good as vbulletin or something like that then you should charge for it. If you can't produce something that good then don't charge for it. Or you could be like burning board and make a beta version and then the version 2 would be charged.

It'll be a Free Open Source BB ..... vB isn't open source :confused:

Well...open source will help programmers so in a way it is a good idea. :)

Basically what all the other forums have but more advanced. I'm not giving much away because I'm developing one myself.

Good idea .. as long as the quality is maintained and innovative features are packaged. I really like the way the phpBB development team is progressing.

Well .. this will be started in the near future .. once i get my site the way i want it .. and some scripts made under my belt

The point of it being Open Source ... is that you can make the Consmetics the way you like .. same with layout ... i'll just make the backed scripting .. and all the hard work :biggrin2:
