Footie Forums

Colors: 35/45 - The colors aren't bad, except gray and turquoise REALLY do not go well together. In fact, they look incredibly ugly and result in a very distracting color scheme.

Images: 11/25 - Logo needs major improvement. It's too big and the bg color doesn't fit with the darker bg color of the table. The bg color of the "New posts" and "No new posts" icons do not match with the blue of the column. In fact, they're entirely different. The bg of these icons are clearly gray, and gray never matches on turquoise. Another point...the words "New Poll" aren't centered correctly on the button. However, I love the other icons you have chosen. They look great, even if they don't really match the color scheme! I agree with the choice not to customize that blue arrow, but clearly, it's not transparent. The white edges are showing. :(

Other Customization: 15/20 - Nice division of forums. Consider adding some hacks, maybe some statistics section, and a few "user titles" to encourage more posting. I also like how you did not change colors for hovering over the links.

Service/Moderation: 9/10 - Only one forum has moderation? I think that with a forum like yours, none of the categories need moderation. If you do have moderators in one category, at least include some for other ones. It looks awkward with a lone mod in the Championship Manager forums.

GameStart

Colors: 35/45 - Why are all the text and links a boring black color? Here, at least you could have tried to change the link colors, especially for "hover." In the columns, the gray on turquoise doesn't look all too bad, but after you get into the posts, putting them side by side horizontally, they don't look so good.

Images: 4/25 - No image customization, except for a logo. Unfortunately, the logo isn't all that impressive either. None of your images fit with the idea of games, IMO.

Other Customization: 4/20 - You should not create so many forums for games when your board is just starting up. Really, you should just have a few general game forums. When the board becomes popular and many people start talking about one particular game, then it's time for you to start adding all the extra games. Even if your board becomes popular, I doubt that they will require the amount of forums you have now. If you do not heed this advice, half your forums will be empty. Also, where are the forum descriptions? Again, there are no hacks here, and not even a user ranking.

Service/Moderation: 7/10 - The emptiness of the board really hurts the look. Try making some posts yourself on all of the forums to start your board off.

Thanks for your opinions :)

I will change the colours scheme for Footie Forums and change the logo (i am holding a competition for a new logo :))

GameStart also needs a new logo and modifications (it looks boring right?)

Thanks again :)

I don't like Gamestart's font. I suggest changing it to Verdana.

Not all of them. Some of them can be really well customized but you don't see many of them and that is even occuring on some big sites.
