hi
i want to phurcase a dedicated server and have some questions :
1-which will be faster one with 64-bit processor 2.4 or one with dual processor 2.4 ?
2- i see in the offers the operating system is for example fedora and also see the kind of cpanel this means i manage it from the cpanel just like WHM or what ?
3- when i add additional hard disk will i make the partitioning and all of that ?
4- can i have a link or book learning managing servers?
5- if i jhave 2 HDD's on the server can i install two operating systems?

1. can you name the CPU?
2. cPanel is for end-user, WHM is for admin and reseller. Both are products of cPanel.net. Can you give more details of your question?
3. yes, you need to create partition, format and mount it
4. learn about the OS first. which OS are you aiming to?
5. yes, but you can run one at a time only

Dual CPU will run faster than one with 64 Bit obviously. FYI: If you need a book on managing servers, don't. Get a managed server.

I would suggest CentOS over Fedora. CentOS is a free open source version of Redhat Enterprise. That is if your datacenter has the option to load CentOS
