FSO Server And Client!

Heya! I Have an FSO Server and client, and i was wondering if i could host the game on just normal hosting???

or do i need a VPS ???

Nope, you cannot host a game on shared hosting, and to the best of my knowledge you cannot host it on a VPS, a dedicated server is the only way you can host a games server.

(Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm sure there are restrictions on a VPS)

There are no restrictions of VPS. Just depends on the config of the vps and its features .

And what is a FSO ? I run some game servers so contact me more about what fso is and its requirements.

Ahh, my bad. I've just had extreamly bad experiances with some VPS hosts.

Good idea. When you search 'FSO Server' with Google this thread is the second listing.

And the actual fsoserver site/forum isn't even on there. Very nice SEO operation they got going on.
