WindowsXP errors I get just keep getting better and better. Just when I was about to post a new thread in this forum, I previewed the post... but before it was done loading, I tried going down the page. To my disappointment, it froze as usual because it was loading an image or something... but then it stayed frozen and popped up that annoying "Send Error Report" dialogue.

Too bad.

lol, go back to windows 98 which was the best OS IMO. I still have 98 on my computer & also have XP pro which am using now.

9x wasn't stable at all though... when I was running 98 I had to restart at least once a week. That's why I went to Win2k before going to XP.

At least with Win2k/XP my box can be stable and stay up for months at a time.

I was trying to connect to an Oracle DB through PHP, and I got an error saying something along the lines of "Error trying to get text for error".

Just like if Invision Power Board couldn't get the lang_error.php. It's not too far fetched to have errors for errors.

If your computer is running Windows XP and is freezing, then that is not normal and it's related to your current computer configuration. I'd suspect that it could be the video card that is causing it to freeze and crash, although it can be anything (ie. bad memory). Since XP was released, I haven't had it crash or freeze on me except a few times when there was malfunctioning hardware. But I was able to resolve that by XP telling me that it had recovered from a serious error because of the video card or whatever.

Yea, update your video drivers. I was complaining for months about Word. Every time I tried to view a Word Doc with an image, it would crash. Turns out all I needed was a quick driver update.
