This is not a free vertion of windows Vista! As a vista beta tester i can say there is no public release of the Windows Vista beta It doesnt expire it requires activating using an offical beta key, it is Illegal to download vista without authorisation and to get this you need to be part of the beta team!

14 Days activation not 180!!! The build will only last a month or so before it's updated anyway!

180 days refers to the timebomb the timebomb is indipendent of WPA , Remember the WinHEC builds
Anyway anything on the site is fair game no matter what the circumstances

And its the Febuary CTP its allready been updated .
Get your facts streight

Wow someone took it personally.

Obviously Microsoft allows for it to be downloaded without authentication.
Obviously Microsoft will only give the Key to Beta Testers
Obvioulsy you're a little upset that other people get to play with toys now.
:P

The point is it's illegal to distribute ANY vista build outside of the Beta program it is not "Fair Game". Thats why under the beta newsgroups all testers are being told to report all leaked vertions of vista to there priacy team! Why degrade the forums here by spreading this stuff, it's childish.

@hottweelz yeh i am a little upset and im sorry if i went way overboard with my response it just seams stupid to start spreading it around everywhere. I'm nto bothered about everyone bein able to use vista i would try and persuade you not to use it untill a more stable build comes out so far there have bein too many bugs to enjoy the software!

Not logical though, when I need my beta stuff, I have to actually LOGIN to MSDN to get it. IF this is just out in the open, why would they do that?

Yes im so jelous that you get to play with a gutted os ...
It will never be able to hold up agenst the WinHEC 04 release

And anyway think about why this has happened over 12 hours of unauthorised access ..
This is no accident. Also weere not disrobuting anything Microsoft is . If they find the links offencive in any way they would have been removed long ago this has been reported thousands of times

Looks like we have another 4008 on our hands

I don't know i've checked the newsgorups and alot of people have bein finding sites with it on and cracked activations keys! But there was no news of Vista being made public beta! Why would they publicly release a buged vertion that the public cant activate???

Clicky (http://www.alphaaddict.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=14) Weve already proven microsoft intentionly leaked builds before , and 24 hours later the network admins still havent "noticed"
