So here's the deal:
My iBook is currently connected to a router via a wired connection.
I have no physical access to said router, but would like to put three more devices online.
(In case it matters the three other devices will be an XBox, a PS2, and a server.)
The obvious solution would be to connect a router/hub/switch to the current router and connect all my devices to that.
Any suggestions/reccomendations/experiences ?
Thanks, guys !

Is wireless important to you at all? I know if I had a laptop I'd probably want to go wireless...
Anyway, I'm a Linksys -----, so I'll get that out of the way first. I would seriously look at the WRT54G. It still has the standard 4 CAT5 ports, but it's also wireless capable. It's been around forever, and it's fairly cheap now at around $45. It's literally the same price as the wired variant, so there's no reason not to go wireless if you go the router route (no pun intended).
If you're sure wireless will never be a requirement for you, you can probably pick up an 8-port switch for around the same price.

Wireless isn't all that important to me, as I am not living in a large household.
The only time I ever use wireless is for my Nintendo DS, in which case I just share my internet connection via my laptop's wireless card.
I think the WRT54G may be one of my best options, as I'd rather have the option to go wireless if necessary.
What, if any problems will I run across connecting a router directly to another router ?
Thanks.

You would basically just need to disable the router function of the wireless router.
Disable DHCP and NAT, and make sure to connect your CAT5 cable to one of the LAN ports and not the WAN port.

The new WRT54G Version 5, from what I hear, sucks. It has less memory and causes a lot of programs. I have the WRT54G v. 3.1 and love it.
