Hello,

I was wondering is there any Windows XP 2004 version? if yes then can u plz give me the download link for the trial version of "Windows XP 2004"? I searched for Microsoft.com and google.com both but did not get any results :(

Also, I downloaded the trial version of x64 bit Edition but it says that my processor is not compatable and that the setup cannot continue with the installation. Is windows xp 2004 and x64 bit edition both the same?

Plz guide me

Thanx

Umm... what?

Firstly, there's no such thing as a trial version of Windows, unless you're referring to the beta testing.

Windows XP comes in two flavors (aside from Home and Pro): regular (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit)

In order to run the x64 edition you need a 64-bit processor. If you're not sure you have one, you likely don't. Even if you did, I wouldn't suggest running it because driver support is still lacking and there's literally no performance increase at this point because very few 64-bit applications exist.

There is no "Windows XP 2004".

lol, x64 is for computers running an AMD 64bit processor. that is why it is x64
also, i have a 64bit processor, and i was using the 64 bit windows for a while, but did not like since nothing is made for it yet. hardly any software compatable to run on the x64 windows. so even those of us that actually have a AMD 64 still run the 32bit version of windows.

windows 2003 is for server machines though, and is not recommended to be used for a normal computer. there is no need for the extra server features that is has unless the computer is going to be a server. i have the vista server version and the coorporate version, but dont use the server one.

just in case you arent smart enough to realize that, but it is illegal to do that, so i would not be discussing something like this on here. maybe use your IM programs to talk about stuff like piracy.
