At least it's been a while since this was last asked.
Why is my name here Dusty? Very simple:
Dusty is my name. It is short for Dustin, my middle name. My name is a nickname of my middle name because, with my first name being initialized into "W", Dustin is my primary name.
Giancarlo

This is my actual name. It was from a Duke or Ruler that ruled a part of Italy a long time ago. Right now, the Spanish version of it is Juancarlos, or the actual name of the king in power today in Spain.

i am a internet/computer nut :o
"cyber" is a digital term, short for cyberspace.
now, i usually call myself "c1" cuz its short for "cyber"
*sigh*
Dusty
March 17th, 2002, 20:39
C1 is short for Cyber? I see the "C" bit, but where does the "1" come in?
shizzle
March 17th, 2002, 20:40
C1 is short for Cyber...? Remember the good old days when something short for something just meant the first few letters?
Dusty
March 17th, 2002, 20:57
I'm guessing C1 means "Cyber" because, in leetspeak, 1 stands for I or L?...except there's neither an "I" nor an "L" in "Cyber".
Cyber
March 17th, 2002, 21:14
nah, its not that
the "c" stands for cyber
"1" is just like a "placeholder" for the rest of cyber

bigperm
March 17th, 2002, 22:20
Well, way back in 9th grade (5 or 6 years ago) I had a big curly afro. So my brother quoted from 'Friday' "What's up bigperm,.. big worm' and bigperm stuck.
From then on everybody in my Madison crew calls me bigperm. In Greensboro however, everyone calls me Tank, because when I walked into work the first day, my best friend Duane said to another guy 'Who rolled the tank in?" and then I went to Duane's house, and he announce to me and everyone else that I was to be called Tank from then on out. Shannon changed it to 'Tanklin D. Roosevelt', and Amanda calls me Tankini, because she want to see me in one.

Well, I think one of my best friends looks eerily like a fish. So anyway, I call him 'fish'. And one night we were talking about it and we were going to have "associate" web-blogs. So it was decided his would be called fish+ and mine would be called +chips.

I was thinking of ... o-dawgI'm glad you decided to stick with Owen. O-Dawg really doesn't suit you. Besdies, I like to imagne you as Owen Lift from Throw Momma from the Train.
Needless to say, I refuse to acknowledge The Poster Formerly Known as Phrozen's current name, much the same way I refuse to acknowledge The Poster Formerly Known as Needcgispace's. To prevent confusion, I'll therefore refer to the former as TPFKaP and the later as TPFKaN.

Actually, o-dawg does suit me from my play on the football and soccer field. However, since you don't know of my exploits on the field, you just won't be able to accept the fact that my nickname is o-dawg.
You just can not accept change. You are like those 95 year old Republicans who think we still live in the 1920s :D

It'll stay the same year as long as I don't get a new calendar. Can't trust those new calendars, they've all got the wrong dates on 'em, stick with the tried and true.

Well. You should be able to get a new calendar about every six years, unless you have a calendar the year or the year before a leap year, in which case you should be able to get a new calendar every 5 years. :D
I am sure my math got screwed up somewhere there so :p
