Bndwith question?

Hello, I am thinking of opening a dedicated server. I was wondering how to get bandwith on my dedicated server? I have heard that it has to do with what my connection speed is. My speed is about 80mb/s if that will help at all. thankyou

also coulld i instal a ds on a an emachines? if not i ahev many more computers, just at the moment that computer has no use.

Well, if you're purchasing a dedi-server from a host/business they give tell you how much bandwidth is on the server. If you're using your own HOME PC, I'm not that sure, but it does have to do with your connection I think.
