Whats the benefit of a dedicated IP?
Does this allow the whois domain detail to just show the sites on the resellers plan or does it still show all websites on the entire server?

A dedicated IP allows you to:
1) Be continually accessed from the same IP without a domain
2) Generally means your getting hosting from a host with their own server
3) Distinguishes you from other servers
I can't really think of any more uses. Help me out here lads :).

The real main reasons are
1: Balancing setups
2: SSL

Most people buy a dedi IP just because they require a SSL cert & you need a dedi IP for a SSL certificate.

It would list only the domains under the dedicated IP. For example if you have 5 under the dedicated IP it would show these 5 domains.
