Your trying to sell a domains that was registed today, for $600... The name is not even good, it has no PR, it's worth less than $5/year, so $25...

If your trying to sell domains, please do know that you need to build up a good PR on the domain: http://prchecker.info and you also need to have a nice domain name.

If this was in a reall domain auction, it would not get higher than $50...

Actually hosting-shack:

This domain refers to the newly announced games console the Nintendo Wii. It was announced at this years E3 and from the features we have been told of it looks set to be a hugely popular release. See the official site for it at:
http://wii.nintendo.com/
and see the following 2 articles on it:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4760473.stm
http://www.gamespot.com/news/6149663.html.
This domain is an ideal URL for someone to set-up their own nintendo wii forums or message board. The domain is registered till 02/06/2012 thats 5 years!. If you own or set-up a namecheap account then this domain can be pushed to you along with 'WHOISGUARD' which will save you the cost of transfer.

Its still not worth $600, if it had a site with it INC forum members which were active then you might get $600. Without that its not worth any more than $50-70 IMO.

Hi Craig (my host),
Thanks for your feedback do you really think its only worth $50? Surely the fact that its the name of a nintendo console followed by forums makes it worth a bit more than $50?

Maybe, NOWHERE near 600$.

What about when the console actually releases and people rush to find a domain to set-up their own forums dedicated to the nintendo wii?

Dude, if it was short like wii.info (sold for high x,xxx.xx good deal), then yes that be worth it. But any domain that has more than 15 characters is worth nothing, unless developed.

Naϊve? :p

Post this domain up at NamePros (http://www.namepros.com). This guy didn't really ask for apprasels, just trying to sell something. If you're not interested, then read and go to the next thread.

Not trying to be a hardass, but, yeah.

And 5 years of reg fee is about $50.

It would be worth something if it was wii forums, but nintendowiiforums.net is WAY too long.

Yeah, 600$ why would someone buy that? 50-70$ tops! nintendowiiforums.net a "17" lettered domain, it's to long. "Wii-Forums.net" would have been cool maybe you would have got a higher price for that. But still not 600$.

By your logic, thecooliorifficblamocongoblamokazoo-wiiforums.com would be worth the same?

I do, I have sold many domains & you need to think of such aspects, IE length, names, keywords etc etc, they all come to one which makes the value of the domain. If you had a active site with the domain...sure, it would be worth a bit but just as a domain its not worth that much.

Goodluck with the sale though :-).

What I don't really get is why people are exagerating over wii when it's a promised crappy console by the makers. I mean seriosuly, msxbox.biz is still available. Surely Microsoft would be more intrested in telecommunication than whereevernintendooriginatesfrom.

As said it's not really a good domain, so $50 would be a good deal if offered

no longer for sale. decided to keep as selling for $50-$60 cannot be done as it cost me about that due to its 6 years registration term. I would like to develop it also which was what I planned to do in the first place I just posted it to see if I could get any offers.
