Simple Gallery Download Directory (http://labs.pcheek.com/gallery/)
I have been lately developing my website for all of my pictures etc. Most photo galleries are way too complicated with way too many un-necessary features and are not very east to design! I decided that I would just have to create my own! This PHP project was actually completed! This is a very simple, but functional, easy to use script! All that you have to do is upload your files and it will automatically detect them:
1. Upload all of the files to your webserver
2. Edit config.php with the correct values
3. Start uploading your pictures and enjoy!
While you do need to have some understanding of PHP to correctly edit the config.php file, it is mostly self-explanitory. Just read the comments and you should be fine. However, the home directory may be tough for many people. If you have no clue what this is, contact me. It is usually something like this:
/home/youruser/public_html/gallery
Some servers use multiple home directories so if you don’t know what yours is, contact me. All files must be in the .png format and must be numbered like 1.png, 2.png, and so on. The first image should be 1.png. This script requires absolutely no link back here which is a major plus! Ready to download?
