How to Integrate a Blog into your site?

I am working on a new design to pitch to a new client. I am only sending a screenshot of the main page to the client as a preview so I can "fake" the blog integration but if he likes it I would prefer to have a simple way of editing the news collum using blog technology. How can I integrate blogging into my site? I am sure I could figure this out myself but I am too lazy and know that someone here has to know the answer.

You have two options.
The first is to use WordPress or something like that. You have to know some CSS, and learn about WP a bit, but overall it's pretty easy to skin, (unless you are using fancy stuff.)

The second option is that (if you have PHP and MySQL or PgSQL) you learn how to create your own. Depending on your experience with PHP and SQL, this may take a long time, or not long at all.

Looks like you don't have this experience, so you should go with a copy of WordPress or something. If you want me to design a PHP one for you, PM me.
