Looks nice. I would say to add a lot of whitespace. Whitespace is good, whitespace is free.

For example, at "This site serves to aid both those who..." that thing should have some padding.

I would also say to use a new header pic, and save as a PNG.

header is very funky and original.. well done if u made that urself.

for accessibility u might wanna make the text scalable in MSIE (use % / em / large/small/larger/smaller instead of px/pt)

for popularity u might wanna make the reciprocal directory option free.

keeping some of the text in boxes doesnt look good.
the directory appears a little congested.
the design is good.
