Why was this deleted?

I posted on some free host's thread that the host was reselling webspace from a shared account @ Dreamhost and the post was deleted. Why is this? I'm just trying to help users that don't know this :o

Ok. I'm not a free hosting company, so I don't get the point, but anyways, it's your rules ;)

Should their be a rule if you are advertising webhosting of any form in your signiture you are counted to be a host. This will lead to less confusion to both mod's and members

I am not sure what is unclear about "hosts may not respond to other host's offers". It makes no difference if it is free hosting replying to paid, or vice versa. Just keep out of it. If there is a problem, report it, don't trash the ad.
