There should be a rule that you cannot post purchased work (i.e templatemonster.com), because there is absolutely no point in reviewing it. The poster won't change the design in anyway, the poster did not make it, and the template can be found on other sites.
One example is http://freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2166047

I completly agree. There seem to be a lot of these posts and they are useless.

Yeah, good point. Basically it's taking credit for other people's work ;)

I agree. If nothing is there own work, who would we be reviewing?

Peo's forum, Peo's call. ;)
I don't disagree with the idea though.

If you don't like one, just move on to another. Who are we to judge whether people choose to use templates, be it their own design or a purchased one? It becomes their site and no doubt they are proud of it.

I agree its totally pointless putting up a site to be reviewed if its a purchased template with nothing done to it, there just trying to get more hits by the sounds of it.

Isn't that what all of them are for. Not naming names (you know who you are), but some are very good at that and end up turning it into an ad. Maybe they should be tossed.

No some actually use it for the right purpose which is to get feedback/comments on your website so you can better improve it.

Sure, and taking a bit of a look, the genuine ones have hardly any reviews, but the "annoying" ones draw many in to insult. Go figure :tired2:
