We are working on it... As stated in the message we have sent to our users (Well.. The ones who signed up with a valid email address...)

Websites still work, but cPanel and WHM are currently down due to security issues we are having. You can thank the user "Teenzine" for that.

I was talking to TeenZine yesterday on AIM he said he doesn't even know how to hack anything, he said he's only 13. (:P)

cPanel and WHM have been re-enabled. The hacking attempts made towards cPanel have been stopped and I’ve been on the phone to teenzine's ISP for most of the day (And just found out how much I hate Indian call centers :S)

dude...every i i f**king call dell that's the kinda people i get...so i stoped...why bother...my warranty is over...loll

my website never stoped during this little problem. FTP was still there, so, enough to keep the boat sailing in a crisis situation.

I would say Liberty-Host is performing very well, at all levels.

Also, Liberty Host, I'd suggest that you don't use cPanel for free hosting, if you do, at least have PHPSUEXEC/SUEXEC enabled.

Yes but having the server logs is like the police having a picture of you with the gun shooting at the police station. Anyway the forums are still down and we are working hard to get them back up. In the meantime everyones websites are still up and no forum posts are required this month to keep the accounts active. Thanks for the positive comments, even during the rougher times we apreciate any feedback from out users.

wow I am having dajavou, Once of my old sites used to be hacked frequantly by a user called Rahul Singh, damn he was annoying and he said he was only a young age and couldn't hack, I tend not to believe them anymore if they say something like im only 13 i can't hack. Our fiasco with Rahul went on for years as he kept spamming and hacking the UBB board when we used it at that time, but anyway I am glad you got it back for your users hosting-shack and hope the hacker was dealt with appropiatly.

I have noticed that the whole liberty-host domain is down, I have an account there as a reseller and all my clients domains are down. Can anyone help me on getting the contact details of Liberty-Host Administrators.:confused4

Yes, Liberty-Host is down at the current time, we had an Admin abuse there position on the server and installed god knows what, we are having to move all accounts to a new server and reformat the old one and transfer them back.

Liberty-Host should be back up in about 3 to 5 days, it will teach us the lesson of not to trust anyone over the internet without photo card ID :P

I rely liked your hosting minus all this comoption of you accusing me of hacking your boards. I know work for a legal company Thundertainment (http://www.thundertainment.com). I hope you will remove my name and all records befor I rely do contact our attorney. So hows your site doing. I've been monitoring you and you seem to have alot of down time. I also am getting my hosting from Cankoo and Aonservers. They are much better hosts since they do not accuse me of false stuff like you do. If you post your phone number here I will be happy to call you and hopefuly we can get this sorted out like sibilized human beins.

No offence TeenZine, but you are 14, how can you work for anyone? And yes, we did our checking up too. Also this downtime is not due to anything you did.

James, this was settled over 4 months ago.

And I didn't forget about it. P.S I called patrick. And yet I didn't get any response. And yes please post the log since I had no part. I can work for him because I have a valid work permit. James is right you jumped to a conclussion to fast and I cant wait until we get a server so we can offer Much BETTER hosting then you would / could ever have. And Should I even mention how your the stupid one who didn't even have backups. Hopefuly you learned a lesson I knew since oh yah 3rd grade. (yes even then i was advanced on my skills)

TeenZIne, please remind us of your excuse for your STATIC IP being in the "Last Login from:" section of our cPanel.

And yes TeenZIne, I leant a lesson that day. Not to trust 14 year olds. Plus if I am correct, you cannot hold a work permit, or be permitted to work legally until you are 16.
