Bigperm's post in the other nickname thread gave me an idea. That thread was about your nick names on the forum, but do you have any nicknames in real life like bigperm?

Most people just call me Nick, but some people use these:


Shorty - A bit strange since I'm 6'4" :confused2.

B.W. - Once I was playing basket ball and a friend dribbled around someone and ran strait into me and fell hard on the ground. He laid there for a few minutes confused, then his words when we asked him if he was ok were something like: "I feel like I ran into a f*ckin' brick wall". Brick wall stuck for a day then my lazy --- friends shortened it to B.W.

There is a country store around here called Rocky's Grocery, run by a guy named, you guessed it, Rocky. Strangly enough, my best friend Matt is Rocky's grandson, and I asked him what Rocky's real name was, and he didn't know, but he did know that Rocky isn't his real name. Rocky even named his daugter 'Roxine'.

I have known Rocky for over 5 years, and everytime I go to see him (or buy beer, whatever the case may be) he always calls me 'Bubba'. I asked Matt about it, and it turns out, Rocky doesn't know my real name or even the name that his children and grandchildren call me ('Perm'). He also has never met my parents, but always asks me how they are doing. As in "Hey Bubba, hows your Momma and Daddy?"

As far as nicknames go, my best friends call me Adam, my real name. Their family's, all of them for some odd reason all call me 'Perm'. People I know but are not friends with call me 'bigperm'. There are a few exceptions, my Greensboro crew who are my best friends call me 'Tank' simply because that's how Duane introduced me to them. The only reason that they never called me bigperm was because when I met them, my head was shaven, and they didn't believe the stories about my fabulous perfect hair. Now they ask forgiveness for their disbelief.

Akalon (hehe, yep)
Homeless (long story)

but mostly just Cilia which is my surname :p
