You are going to need a webserver software such as iis which comes with windows
or you can use apache.
Optionally you are going to need a ftp server if you want people to upload files or if you want to upload files from a remote computer.
Also you might want to look into a mailserver i dont think apache comes with one.
These are just the basics so have fun!

I can help you out with that if you like.
I assumed you want to sell him a domain, I may be wrong. I thinks it's very rude you're always looking for client because it seems like it's your only interest

You could either forward it to the IP, or set the domain to point to the IP.

What about bandwidth? Would it depend on your internet connection? And how can you determine the exact amount of bandwidth you have?

Your isp should tell you.
Check their website.

Ok. Well it seems I would have to upgrade to a Business Internet Service plan to actually make a server using my home computer on their service.

Most ISPs block port 80, 8080, 21, 22, 23, and a lot of other ports below 5000.
