Mange August 8th, 2006, 13:52 9+ years? Why don't you have any news or contact-page after 9 years?
amz August 8th, 2006, 14:11 9+ years? Why don't you have any news or contact-page after 9 years?
ROFL! LMAO! Our site has probably gone through at least a 1,000 revisions
since we opened and in fact even now we are currently in the middle of a new
layout deployment being deployed this very week and we also have scheduled
a few upgrades to be applied to our support systems as well!
Anyway, we first opened on January 2, 1997 and will be celebrating our
10th year anniversary in just a little over 4 months from now!
For our 9th year anniversary, we gave away some paid hosting accounts and
a number of paid domain name registrations to a number of lucky members.
I have no idea what we are going to do for the big "10" but it will probably
be along the same lines or even more!
PS: Did you happen to notice my post stats?

Mange August 8th, 2006, 14:18 Yeah in fact I did. That's why I asked, if I hadn't seen them I would think you were kidding :)
rosmatis August 8th, 2006, 14:35 How come creation date is 2000?
Dates: Created 12-jan-2000 Updated 24-jul-2006 Expires 12-jan-2007
vshost August 8th, 2006, 14:45 Cybertoad is not a good hosting I see, All the usa /uk ppl is already hosted...
Why the language restrictions?
amz August 8th, 2006, 14:52 How come creation date is 2000?
Actually the creation date is October 1996 for that particular domain!
In 2000, Network Solutions monopoly on domain registrations was
finally broken up and the way was opened up to allow for competition
and the launch of new competing registrars.
Because of the mass changes made during that period and the lack of
set transfer procedures or protocols for domain transfers, most domains
registered by anyone before that period of time who tried to switch
from Network Solutions to a new registrar usually got their WHOIS
information reset to the date when the transfer was made even though
most domains were actually registered long before that date with some
people's domains actually originally going back as far as 1992!
vshost August 8th, 2006, 14:55 Why the language restrictions?
Mange August 8th, 2006, 14:58 Would a forum-development project be accepted? We are just in alpha-state but we have a domain.

Of course! In fact one of our administrators is doing the same thing!
Mange August 8th, 2006, 15:12 - Free plans may only be used for personal non-commercial use only!
I was thinking of this. What happens if I place ads on the page and earns money? Or if someone donates money?
amz August 8th, 2006, 16:51 I was thinking of this. What happens if I place ads on the page and earns money? Or if someone donates money?
Our policy is that you won't be allowed to participate in any
commercial advertising programs such as Google Ads or
anything similiar while hosted on a FREE account plan.
We give an enormous amount of space and bandwidth at the
expense of our own company without placing any advertisement
or making any forum posting requirements like you find at most
other hosts. At the same time, we also give you incredible
unmatched reliability that even surpasses most paid hosts!
It would be self-defeative to offer all that we do and allow
people to run businesses from their sites at our expense so
the personal (non-business) use rules are strictly enforced.
If you need to use your site for business purposes, we do have
a large number of paid hosting plans, reseller accounts, vds accounts,
and dedicated server plans that you can seemlessly upgrade to
without any downtime. These plans do not have any of the
business restrictions imposed on the free hosting plans.
Why the language restrictions?
Luis, you have been hosted with us since January with a language
waiver on your account so why are you even posting in here?
Mange August 8th, 2006, 16:56 Okay. I see.
uk_jsm August 8th, 2006, 17:37 Hi Cybertoad
Just to let you know i tried applying for an account, but was told that im on the above list.
Anyway, as i have just composed a free hosting request, i am about to post that up tonight.
If you still think you can help, feel free to read...
amz August 8th, 2006, 18:45 Uk_jsm, send me your IP by private message or email and
I can probably tell you which major blacklist service has
your IP blacklisted and why it is listed over there.
Generically speaking and without knowing your exact IP address ...
Looking through the logs, it looks like most of the blacklist hits from
today were from Spamcop (http://www.spamcop.net) which reports
the IP addresses of confirmed known spammers.
There is also a couple of hits on DSBL (http://www.dsbl.org) today
reporting a couple of the IPs submitted were known open proxies.
xFiNE August 8th, 2006, 19:53 i can't sign up, system said i've an account while this is first time i sign up:confused4
locolijo August 8th, 2006, 20:14 Their servers are slow and all ----ed up... dont get your self into that hosting because they offer that much space and bandwidth...
Go to freewebdot.com they are way better than that "hosting" if you can call it like that.
amz August 8th, 2006, 21:38 i can't sign up, system said i've an account while this is first time i sign up:confused4
If the system says that you already have an account then
you do already have an account ....
In most cases, people just forget that they signed up previously
and usually remember when we lookup the account details.
Applicants can also be listed as already having an account if they
are currently hosted with any of our other free hosting brands
such as Catch Free Hosting, etc.
Contact me via PM and I can lookup your current account and
give you the details about when you original signed up, where,
and the current status of that account.
Their servers are slow and all ----ed up... dont get your self into that hosting because they offer that much space and bandwidth...

ROFL! LMAO! We got the fastest and most reliable servers on the entire planet!
But we all know what you are really all about ...
Just to bring everyone up to speed, locolijo got his account suspended with us
a long time ago because he got caught running an illegal warez download site off
of his web hosting account. In retaliation for that suspension, he immediately
started up on a bad public relations campaign against us hoping to negatively
effect business and apparently still doesn't know when to quit!
Funny thing is that we were going to lift the suspension after we got a chance
to talk to him but because of his actions posting lies everywhere brought to
our attention by several members, we instead banned him from the network.
Even funnier is that thanks to locolijo's lies and bogus publicity last year, our
membership actually tripled at Cybertoad Networks and our sales doubled at
2 of our paid hosting companies! Thanks !!!!
I was going to keep locolijo's PM's to me today private but in light of him
trying his stupid tactics again, it should be mentioned that locolijo sent me
two private messages today, out of the blue and completely unprompted, with
references to my mother and the "f" word no doubt to try to provoke some
sort of confrontation to refuel his old game again. Sorry, won't work!

alley August 9th, 2006, 09:40 I am having problems with your signup code.
I keep getting this error message:
You have tried to use a signup code that has already been used or has already expired!
amz August 9th, 2006, 10:18 I am having problems with your signup code.
I keep getting this error message:
You have tried to use a signup code that has already been used or has already expired!
Signup codes can only be used ONCE and are
encoded to the IP of the specific user using the code!
Those applicants who put incorrect information on their
application or fail to signup for forum membership prior
to trying to signup for web hosting will be required to
obtain a NEW CODE before attempting another signup.
HOWEVER ...
None of the above is applicable to you because you are
a member of Cybertoad Networks and already have an
active account with the address: http://alley.z42.us !!!!
Members are not permitted multiple hosting accounts
although each hosting account is capable of supporting
multipe web sites so multiple accounts aren't even needed!
alley August 9th, 2006, 12:52 I never signes up for an account on cybertoad that I can remember? ...I signed up for a z42.us account but it is a sub domain account. I wanted to use one of my domains.
Oh well, I will look for another host. I know your hosting is good so I thought I would try cybertoad.

On the verge of completely embarrassing the crap out of you .....
YOUR Z42.US ACCOUNT IS A CYBERTOAD NETWORKS ACCOUNT!
Z42.US is just the domain we use for subdomain account addresses
at Cybertoad Networks and nothing more!
Your current web site http://alley.z42.us is a Cybertoad Networks account
and you cannot signup for a new account because you already have an
active hosting account with us at Cybertoad Networks!
HOWEVER ...
You said you want to use a domain name --- That we can do!
Contact technical support or send me a PM to update your web address
and add your domain or domains to your current hosting account!

Break August 10th, 2006, 17:44 It said it needed a domain which i don't have
bringer August 10th, 2006, 18:13 Ya what if you don't have a domain, also what do you allow as far as chat php scripts allowed.
bringer August 10th, 2006, 20:18 hmm after reading some post in there forums it seems you must already have a domain name what a bumber. Would of been nice to know before we signed up with forums and everything.
3sjmelbourne August 11th, 2006, 04:09 Look, Ive got a uni.cc domain in the bloody spot. and it keeps saying:
Subdomain allocation quota for today has been reached. You will need to own a domain name to apply!
Cheers!,
amz August 12th, 2006, 08:51 hmm after reading some post in there forums it seems you must already have a domain name what a bumber. Would of been nice to know before we signed up with forums and everything.
WRONG! We DO NOT require you to own your own domain name!
However, we only allow 15 new subdomain signups per day if you don't
own your own domain and then the signups for subdomains is closed
off until the next day!
If you own your own domain then there is no signup shutdown and
you can signup anytime you wish without that restriction.
Look, Ive got a uni.cc domain in the bloody spot. and it keeps saying:
Subdomain allocation quota for today has been reached. You will need to own a domain name to apply!
UNI.CC address are NOT valid domain names and is not a TLD!
UNI.CC is a private subdomain service which incidentally is banned from
out network and cannot be used on any account hosted with us.
Anyone attempting to submit a UNI.CC address on the application will have
their application automatically changed to an identical Z42.US address and
then depending on whether the daily limit for subdomain applications for
the day has been reached yet will either be processed or it won't.

First, your message should be sent to technical support and not posted
on some 3rd party site like FWS where we might not even see your post
and you are lucky I was actually browsing this site this morning and
noticed your post which is just shear dumb luck on your part!
Second, your friend's account would be frozen because he probably
has not met the proper forum posting requirements for hosting yet
since you just said he requested a "z42.us" subdomain address!
(Accounts with Z42.US addresses require 25 posts before applying!)
