just want to annouce we have opened up freefilehost.be
it will provide free file hosting for legal files up to 100mb space.

On a side note it will be moving to its own dedicated server Fri August 11th so uploads will be unavailable for a short time on friday. But all downloading will work fine :)

when a person uploads files on to your file storage system can they add a direct link to that file from their site?

no u can't directlink it...you'll have to go to their site and wait for the timer

ani-m is correct, you get a download link to give to others currently the timer is a small 13 secounds. We do not have any popups, popunders, popins or anything else they may effect the users browser. we only place Text and banner ads.
Fast speeds and should be even faster after server move.
