I'm looking for help, I currently have a server station at LayeredTech. We are gaining popularity and the server is slowing down. Before we get too many users online at once I would like to spread the site over 2 servers. Could you post on how we can do this? Thanks

I'm not an expert but, I think you have to use the cluster feature then add the ip of each server(putting the other ip on the seperate server, and do it for the other.
Note: But remember, i am not an expert so just give it a try :D

Maybe LT can set up load balancing for you when you order the second server?

actually I was having a lovely day but when I see "advice" like that it just gives me gas.
to the OP:
what kind of site are you running?
forums/forum type?
forum stats (visitors, traffic, average posts per day, etc)?
what is your current hardware?
custom software?

What's your budget? If upwards of 600 or 700, consider going to a firm that can help provide a hardware load balancing solution.
