Im pretty sure you mean hostgator. If you do.
They usually get good reviews but they only tend to be by people who arent familiar with the hosting world, or do not have active websites so do not notice downtime etc.
They are known to overload their servers, and their support doesnt usually give you a resolution to your problem first time around, and quite often requires a lot of ticket replies even to explain a problem.
Well thats my experience with them anyway.
