Well, I have heard that Directadmin functionality is currently being tested with WHMCS. What will they call it now? DirectWHMCS?

It's not difficult to upgrade and it's free to do so, so yes, it was worth it.

If you are asking whether or not 2.5 is better than 2.4, then the answer is yes. 2.5 is a major upgrade and you will notice the huge improvements that have been made.

Yes. It is worth it.
2.5 was a massive upgrade with changes to the look and feel of the admin panel along with some really cool features.
2.5.7 is a bug-fix upgrade.
So, I strongly recommend upgrading ASAP.
