My opinion is, this downtime was caused by server overload because they do massive overselling (giving away 5-10GB of Space for free!) A dedicated server usually have 80GB HDD so if you give away 10GB then you can only host 8 clients legitmately. Anyway.. Good luck AHPlace

well.. AHplace is DOWN again.. it was up for a day or so after the downtime caused by the PSU unit.. and it's totally inaccessible.. plus even the websites hosted are inaccessible on AHplace now! (at the time of this writing)

We are almost done the moving process and the old server will be up for a while before switching the nameservers to the new one.

Sorry for this downtime and I hope that it will not happen again.

I can access it, it might be something wrong with your browser or internet connection. Try clearing ur cache, or do a CTRL + F5 in the browser on the AHPlace's site. That was what I did too whenever I visit AHPlace to check if its back up.

Nothing againts ahplace here, this applies to all, if your free hosting provider keeps going down why dont you consider changing to another one or go paid hosting? Instead of keep posting here that its down, you're getting annoyed, this and that... Anyway, just my humble opinion..

ahplace.com is probably hosting 10 times as many websites as we do and I would have to say that they are probably running out of resources or a hosting account is causing the server issues. hopefully they will get it sorted out shortly.

Well most of the time I can access AHPlace, maybe I am just plain lucky due to my timezone, who knows. :)

I am a bit confused on the above post by TDDHost. I thought they had already switch over to the temp server yesterday, and right now its on the temp server. They are transferring the data over to the new server right now. But maybe, its a problem on my site, or they switch over to that page again and just reswitched back to the temp server not long ago. Anyway, as long as its up people don't need to worry so much about these stuff! :)

Well.... seems to me that the support system is totally down.. or noone cares anymore..

Cze I opened a support ticket earlier.. and it was unanswered for 3 days straight.. i closed it.. and opened another.. now it's been 2 days.. and the second ticket is still unanswered..
