cant get to cpanel and whm

Hi,
I just got a vps and I keep getting a message that says that I don't have a license to cPanel. Also I cant get to the whm through my domain. I went to godaddy and created a nameserver by setting my two ips to ns1 and ns2.domain.com and then I set domain.com to point to those two nameservers.
Any idea on where I'm going wrong? If anyone is willing to guide me step by step that'd be nice. Thanks.

hi check your ips at http://verify.cpanel.net make sure your host isnt selling u a test license i know of 1 host that is currently doing this

It says my IP is not licensed. What the hell? If my plan came with cpanel it should have the license right? Now this is getting on my nerves.
