Here's something for all of you who hate traditions. Meow you'll like this. Apparently fox hunting will be banned in England. I can't understand the reason behind the tradition anyway.

Well.... I think people should have the freedom to hunt. I used to hunt myself, too long ago though.

Why? If everyone hunted then there would be nothing else to hunt.

Also, you may not be allowed to hunt with a dog in the UK. Apparently their working on hunting laws.

Fox hunting?
I prefer moose hunting myself. There's nothing like some nice moose jerky.

Then there should be breeding programs, and specific areas where hunters cannot go.
I think the system in Kenya for poaching is effective for areas that are imposed as national parks or no hunting areas. Breeding programs should be started to make the population grow, and then limited forms of hunting can be permitted in areas not imposed as no hunting areas.

I personally think that stricter regulations are not enough. It needs to be totally banned. This can be compared to lots of things. e.g. bullfighting (that was not to annoy you giancarlo), other types of hunting and also the killing of animals which are almost extinct. I find it sad how the hunters keep doing this when they know that soon there could be nothing left and then the animal become extinct.

I think that the best hunting is the one called "human hunting" , we are too many around the world, don't you think? it's time to allow this one too. :D Of course that was ironic....I always had a question for the people who do hunting. Why they enjoy it? What's the pleasure? I'll never understand this!!!

And what would happen to the people who break these rules? People will be determined to break the rules. Especially if they can get thousands for tiger skins.

I don't think they do get a plesure from it. As giancarlo said about bullfighting its a major source of income. But then lets not bring bullfighting into this. That has already been discussed.

In Kenya, they would get shot. But in Britain I think they should get there priveliges revoked.

And who would check to see if these rules were not being broken? They can't be patrolled 24/7.

Well apparently the populations in these areas in Kenya are doing well, they are starting to get back on their feet after years of hunting, in effect because of these strict laws.

Interesting how these laws don't apply to all animals.

I sounds like they don't know what foxhunting is about cheatpark.
This issue isn't about killing foxes or using hunting dogs. What they do is let the dogs chase the fox until it can't run anymore. Preferably until its heart explodes. It's nothing like your ordinary hunt with hounds.
(There's a word for this kind of hunting, sorry I don't know it in English)

Does it make you feel brave to shoot an innocent, defenseless animal?
There's a guy at school who goes hunting; he thinks he's massively brave and stuff because he shoots rabbits.

Hello! The problem with fox hunting is that they don't shoot them

I'm sorry if I don't understand putting an animal who can't defend itself, much less fight back, through suffering only to die for no reason other than entertainment.
Anyway, this guy at school thinks he's big and strong and cool 'cos he can shoot little animals. It's so pathetic.
Have you ever readTo Kill A Mockingbird?
