What is the deal with people signing up, ditching hosting without letting the host know, and requesting for hosting again? Also, why is it that people post their requests 5 times... I wish there was a way to communicate with other hosts and share ip's of hosted users and create some kind of network where if someone wants to sign up for hosting, they can only sign up for hosting once between hundreds of companies. It is getting kind of absurd how many people apply for 2 to 3 hosting accounts.

Just my thoughts, after reading the daiy requests.

That's one of the things that FHA is intending to do, share information about abusive webmaster and ip addresses.....it's annoying though, especially when you can see they have never even used the account provided.

Hey guys, let me share my experience and thought about this..

I noticed that if we provide people with hosting instantly like "ok we'll host you now for a banner ad" 2 mintes later they got their hosting. But 1 out of 2 people that we host using that easy process, ended up looking for another host (they play around since they know they can get one easily)

But for those who applied for hosting in our forum which take upto 3 days before getting approved never look for another host again. Maybe theres only 1 out of 20 who does. Meaning these people are really serious in getting hosted with us so they worked and waited patiently for it and we repay their patience & genuine intentions by providing them with what they need.

Since really i have no forums and normally set up the account while i am chatting with the person to whom i will sponsor.

So lets see I have 7 people i have sponsered for some time now. And it took me going thru about 20 or so others to get the 7 decent ones. My ratios are a bit differnt then yours.

Lot off work for those 7 guys, But dammit it is worth the effort

I have 2 more that i hope will turn into good sites. Lets cross our fingers.
I always like to see people achive whatever they may call success when thier sites are in concern.

May I ask, what you think is the problem with one user having multiple accounts? I personally don't see the problem. Hotmail and Yahoo don't restrict you do they?

Honestly speaking i am not a e-mail service.

I myself spend alot of money on my server. Plus i put alot of work into it as well.

Once again i must i am not a "free host" per say. I dont make money from the accounts i give out. My server is basically running in the red (money wise)
every month.

It takes time out of my life to check up on the sponsorships, post here offering sponsorships, and contuning to work with the sponsors whenever somthing might appear to go wrong.

If the sponsors have more then one account the energy they place into thier site will be very low. Hence the time i have spent with them is lost time.

That time is important to to me and its no use working with someone who will give a half hearted attempt on their site, because they choose to concentrate building there site on another server and are just using me as back-up.

well

I think thats happened because every day a new free webhost appear

Free webhost companies is too much

soo people say why should i have only 50 MB when i can have 80 GB from diffrent servers .... yes it is like that ........ !!

another thing (to you KRAK_JOE) you are a reason too ... this free reseller accounts you gave to people ... i think was a big mistake .... every one start his own hosting company for free .... (some was without a domain)

how in hell a hosting company without a domian !!!!!

Here is my view. I believe that person can request from a few hosting company that is fine with me. However, they must use the account for at least some usage. The one that make me the most angry is, they request hosting and next day they have another account with another company with the same content they intend to do with their account hosted with us. Overall is, it ok if they have different account for different projects however those who have different account just to have one single project. Those people deserve to be deny by free web hoster. They are taking us for granted.

Yes I agree with you Jason.

I am currently starting a free webhost and I will be sure to make sure this kind of people does not get free webhosting for me, they are just wasting our server resources.
