I'm starting an Upload site. I still need to find a script, but i've got the template sorted. It's not working in Firefox, so i'll sort that, but please review it in Internet Explorer.

Please bear in mind this is my first ever vector template :P

it looks good, i don't particulary like the top banners, i think you should work on the hills graphic make something complex, but i like it's background, keep that

I used Photoshop to make it, and then sliced it and opened it with Dreamweaver, added a Stylesheet. I'll make a bigger version, and keep the small version, so you guys can tell me which you prefer! :)

ok, here's some notes:

1-Why are all the links that you give link back to your website, not cool. people might hate yu for that

2-i can see your whole upload directory, you should close it, or you might have lots of privacy issues later on, when you have lots of people uploading things

3-http://imagemain.com/uploads/837924camila-2233.jpg is that considered a violation of your tos, i found it uploaded to your website

That all for now, good work, might make you a good profit

Yepo, saw that. I've only just logged onto the Admin, but it's deleted now :)

Thanks, i'll bear all those points in mind. I Don't get point number 1 though, could you explain more?

Also, I currently have no CPanel, but i'll talk to my wubbly hosts about moving "again". I'm sure d1n1 loves me :P

just put: Options -Indexes in a file, uploaded to the directory, and it well stop the listinning of the files, as for the first point i mean, that when someone uploads a picture, the links that scripts generate all link back to your website, so let's say someone took the bbcode and posted it in here, when someone clicks on the links it will go to your websites, witch is not a cool thing to do, you need to change that

What do I call the file which I put Options -Indexes in?

Darko

it's a .htaccess file

Keagle

I don't have CPanel, and i've checked FTP, No .htaccess.

Darko

just create a text file, on your pc, name it anything, open it, write Options -Indexes, save and close, upload it to the directory, then rename it .htaccess

Thanks :) I'll do that now.

If your system has apache, then it should have htaccess.

Anyway, it's easier to just put an index.html file in the directory rather than doing the htaccess stuff.

I've made a .htaccess. So, fixed!
