Start my webhosting site

I wanted to know how can I start my own webhosting site like http://www.yurx.com and other sites. which allows users to post certain posts.


Do I need phpbb or Bulletin Version 3.6.1.

I am going to start NO POST for standard account.

ummm, I don't think PHPBB has a mod for that, if I"m not mistaken... but try getting IPB. It's cheaper then vBulletin, and it's basically as good ;)

I want start a hosting company that provides 2500MB space and bandwidth for FREE. No post require but no php, cgi hosting.

What are chances of sucesss? (think of geocities, tripod.com)

How are you going to provide hosting? are you planing to oversell offering that much space?

Chances of money loss is great. Unless you have the money to start one of these, I suggest you don't even attempt it. Try offering some paid hosting, then take the profits and use it towards the bill of a server when you get like over $1000 profit, (should be a few years) then you can have a server for at least a year, hopefully more from ad clicks, and donations, etc.
