Anyone know what happened to a-host.info? It was up a few days ago, and I believe matty on here is the owner. I had a few things in my forum, etc that I have yet to back up, and really hope it isnt down :( It was so good....

I backed up some of it, but I forgot to back up all my sql databases, etc :S Unfortunately this is for a charity fundraiser, and I need to go live rather soon :(

We are not going anywhere... We just need time for the domain IPs to change.

We are simply moving server and all accounts are being transferred. No data will be lost so if you did NOT take a backup, there's nothing to worry about.

We will be up ASAP.

ok latest:

New host setup, got the IP address working.

Cpanel and WHM are on. Now they are transferring all accounts. Should be done pretty soon and then we need the IP address to change.

ok im just configuring the server on whm and accounts are nearly done. There will be a lot more features on this new server....

sorry who i host for downtime... my old host made me move because i wanted dedicated server and my old host couldnt do it so his friend's hosting company is hosting us on a dedi.

I can now see "a" home page (a-host.info), so I guess all they have to do is xfer over the accounts and we are good to go :)

No its not the same server as ahost.ro

And i can tell you, chargertek that hosted "ahost.ro" has shut down their server for this website.

Well we seem to be having a lot of problems at the mo. Its mainly transferring the accounts over. By today, i think all accounts should be done.

Nice work matty,i rember i used to have an account with u(still do) i may still need it for some stuff but i now have my own hosting company

ok, i have worked really hard all day today doing the DNS/apache things. Finally, they are now sucessfully working!

http://www.a-host.info - im awaiting all backups so i cannot upload the website yet.

We are transferring accounts now - should take a few hours.

We are transferring accounts and it is now on the letter "m". Another 12 hours should do it. And when 12 hours is up, we can restart it and then hope everything works!

Yea, i noticed that I get the popup for cpanel when I type in mysite.a-host.info:2082. Doesnt actually allow me to get in yet, but its getting there :)

I can also see my site, although the server side includes arent working yet :)

Apparently, there must be something going right... I was finally able to at least attempt a login (unsuccessful, but an atempt) to my webspace. There's a cpanel page up now, where my main site page should be... so at least it's something.

Just hang in there. I'm sure Matty's doing all he can right now for us... It's almost over dude, LOL!

Looks like cpanel over on 2082 is working for me, but still not seeing anything as far as site content. Just wanted to let you know man, I know you're woking really hard on this. Oh, and before I forget...Fantastico is showing a 404 not found error for me as well. Not sure if it's anywhere else.

We need urgent help... with this cpanel + apache default page thing... contacted cpanel.

If ANYONE here knows what could be wrong, please PM me. I am trying to troubleshoot from whm now, but it would be better if i knew what could be wrong.

If you place a ticket with cpanel they are pretty quick getting back. Plus they will go into the server and str8ten it out.

69.37.63.81 and 69.37.63.82 are the new domain IPs. Please change to these new Domain IPs. The nameservers are still the same - (ns1.a-host.info and ns2.a-host.info)

i know the server is a little slow, thats because we are installing fantastico and getting /cpanel, /webmail and /whm to work. for now, you can login using the top header login bar, which has been tested and works. Updates will be posted soon.

Could you possibly increase the ftp limit? It is apparently set at 250 atm and maxed out. Havent been able to access my ftp for a few days.

Apparently, the server's down again, all the way around...Haven't even been able to get into the main a-host site since about 9pm last night. Any idea as to how long the downtime will be?
