I thought this would be the right place for an attempt to find the right name of my webhosting company - since everyone here is technical minded

So, Im looking for a name for a web hosting company, currently, its called 'Qube Hosting'. As you can see, its not very creative at all... I have a few others in mind, 'Web Dotters' and 'Webex Hosting' or even 'Webexie'..

Plase feel free to comment on the above two and suggest your own..

I'd say the best one you have there is Webex, it's best to think of name which is different and unique. Qube sounds ok but I hate Qs in general.

'Webex' itself has already been taken, so now its going to have to be Webex Hosting if at all...

If it's taken by another company, I would stay clear.

Make a list of names you associate with your service, get some ideas going!

But they are registered by 'Webex' - as one word, surely I wont get into trouble if I register 'Webex Hosting'?

As an alternative I could use Webexie?

Ive made a list of names, they are all taken unfortuntely, Ive had enough of 'something host', there are too many of them. Im trying to think of 'Web' something...its a lot more broader.

Not a good idea to ask people to come up with a good hosting name in these kinds of forums.

how I came up with our name was to make a list of keywords that we wanted to focus our company on

ie:
successful
prevailing
etc.

then went to dictionary.com, used their thesaurus and played around for awhile until i found something that stuck. Avail Networks lives
