Domainsite.com is the cheapest that i know, but it is not as good as ipower.
Sign up to registerfly and sign up for newsletter, once in a while, they send you a newsletter full of so many offers, i actually buy.
$2.95 for .net domain (next48hrs ONLY offer) - and paypal is now accepted.
Regfly is a great register.

Domainsite do $6.99 which suits me.
If you want to go to Godaddy.com, there are shedloads of promocodes to get money off.
I had this one today:
gdh1008 = 15% off orders over $50 until 31-10
And have these scribbled down:
YOUTUBE01 = 10% discount on everything
cjcfiveoff = $5 off ($30+)
OYH3 = $6.95 .com/net
LOL31 = $10 off
I haven't used any of these codes yet as I have no names to register.
I've only heard bad things about RegisterFly, although have not used them myself. Caveat emptor.

Robert? Did you just say iPower were better than DomainSite?
How wrong you are. iPower for one, register the domains manually so it can take up to 48 hours to get your domain. And apparently their support is absolutely dredful.
I've never had any problems with domainsite, and the prices ($1.99 for info, $6.99 for most others) are great.

Domainsite control is a bit weak though. Personally, I use Dynadot.com. They offer free domain ownership transfer, and you can easily switch nameservers. Instant domain registration, which is also very good.
Its about a buck more a year then domainsite, but packed with much more.
Support is great, even though I rarely use it since their service is ace.

what you mean by that?

I have used domainsite control panel and find it very disorganized. It may be a right-brain left-brain thing, or just how we like things organized. In my opinion, I find it a very disorgaized control panel, but again that's my opinion.
All-in-all - my personal choice is Dynadot

If you want to pay through Paypal, I would recommend DomainSite. However if you do have a credit card, NetFirm would be the cheapest. To my knowledge, IPower has increase their price, no longer $2.95.

Why not use Globat.com (only USD$1.95 per .com)..
