News Box

Can someone make me a simple News box I can Add to my site? If you can make it use marquee but besides scrollowing sideways make it scroll up and be in like a bluish box please.

i think a rss, i want to put it on a web page to put my current news about the page on it.

so you will be entering the news yourself ?

RSS is normally for outside sources of news, such as google news, or msn feeds, if the news you want displayed is for you, you'd be better off with a local database to retrieve the data onload and you could have a form to enter your news when you wanna add some ?

sorry, I had to go out, I'm home now, so, what sort of format are you wanting, will the news be like one liners or short articles, gimme a size in pixels if possible so I have something to work around....

well it will have atleast 2 lines and size about 234x60

Download, unpack, create database, use sql file inside the archive to create table structure from inside phpmyadmin, open up news.php edit the mysql and script specifix, they are all commented, then upload to your website, and include it where you want it on the page...

To administer news, goto news.php?q=admin and login.....

When you wanna insert links, make sure you wrap them in ' NOT " ......

Perhaps I'll make it better tomorrow, I'm tired, bed time ....

Just realised you cant delete news, I'll fix it tomorrow, in the mean time, just edit the ones you have .... sorry ....
