My eye is drawn to the background before the content/banner, so change the background! Other than that, nice :)

there is a lot of empty space at the bottom.
the site is too dark
add content
make the navigation increase in font size.
the layout is too narrow

I like the header area but overall the page is a little naked, I would definately increase it's size and clean it up a bit. Beyond the header it looks a bit free templatish

very ugly font, plus the site is too dark. try with lighter colors and a better font :)

Um for me there is something wrong with the gallery script, most of the images appear at the bottom of the page.
