Hey,

A few days ago, there was a bug with the live website, where you could sign up for an MSN account and paste some javascript into your url box and it would add an extra domain to the selection box. They have closed this down now, unfortunately. I was wondering whether any of you guys took advantage of this? I did.

I also knew someone who got themselves

(Thiername)@fbi.gov

as an MSN address. If I'd known the speed of microsofts bug-fixers then I would have tried a few more. Looking back there are many emails that would have been great to get

bill@microsoft.com

Because my address contains a sort-of swear word, I won't post it here to avoid conflict.

They aren't verified, so there is no real point signing up for a fbi.gov account, as it would be ''tailz.fbi.gov [address not verified]?

i tried any domains too. such as ''tailz.tailz.tailz'' :P

I got my live.com one tho :)

Mine says hecky@sh.it (Email Address Not Verified)

But, hey its better than nothing

PS. Decided to post address after having a better look round here ;)

And besides, its the adding on msn bit that matters. So you could add hecky@sh.it and it would look, up until you read the name on msn, like I owned that domain.

Urm... I think you still can (and always have been able to) do this.

Yep. A few months back, people posing as admins from FWS got a few people's PayPal details claiming they needed their PayPal address and password to pay them.

It's nothing new
