If it can actually load before I get older, then I will review it.

lol, yeah it was slow. I had too much on the server, its not the site itself.

Check now. Its on its own VPS, so it loads quite a bit faster.

one bad thing you have going on is that you have almost no text, and all images. very bad for search engine spiders. it loads a little quicker, so that was good, but you need to make that flash player load faster.

Yeah, i'll definatly be doing some SEO soon. I just advertise on other Hip Hop sites right now.

I updated the flash player, so Javascript loads it now, rather than <OBJECT> tags. That also fixes the "Click to activate" warning for Internet Explorer users.

Also note - I had major DNS issues with my new nameservers all week until last night, so that might have been a factor in speed.

The site is loading faster than ever now that i'm properly settled into the new server.

what did you do to get rid of the click to activate control thing?

It's a Javascript called SWFObject and can be found at blog.deconcept.com/swfobject

You just add their .js file to your home dir, and change the Flash object tags to JS. They have a great tutorial that breaks it all down.

Its a life saver for me, because my other site ShadyBlock.com has a full flash header.

Nice site, like the hip hop header :) Loaded fast for me so VPS must be performing ok.
