I have just signed up for a Google Adsense Account and recd. approval mail.
I have also put up various ads on my website.
However, I am a bit confused about submitting tax information to Google. I am residing in India and have signed up for Free Hosting service with 110mb.com. Now the problem is that I am not sure if hosting with 110mb.com can be considered as a US Activity as the Tax Information Submission Wizard asks for whether I have any US Activity or not.
I am also quite unsure about which forms am I required to fill and the procedure for submitting tax information.
Any help in the matter will be highly appreciated !

But the question is which hosting service are you using. In my case, as I previously mentioned, I am using 110mb.com Hosting Service. Now I am quite unsure if the hosting service is US Based or not and therefore whether it can be considered as a US Activity or not....
I also have installed Free Hit Counter from statcounter.com. Now I know it is a US Based Co. but do not know whether it can be termed as US Activity or not.....
And also I am getting a message when I log in to Adsense as follows:
"Our records indicate that you have not submitted your tax information. Until we receive your tax information, Google will hold all payments to you. Once you have submitted your tax form, all held payments accrued in accordance with the Google AdSense Online Program Agreement will be sent to you."
If I dont need to fill in any of the forms, how do I go about providing tax information to Google??
Please Help.... :)

Please email google. Use the contact form on their site. You don't need to enter tax details unless you are in the USA.

Hello,
I have the same question, and i'm really intersted to know the response!
I have read somewhere that if you only have a host in a server in US there is no taxes to pay, but if you're running a hosting company for example, then you have to pay!
Anyway someone can affirm this please!
Thank you very much for your help.

Another question though. If you are US based and don't input your tax info, can you earn money still? I'm waiting to have an income of $100 before I put in my tax info.

From https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=9909&ctx=en:search&query=tax&topic=&type=f
It is the responsibility of each publisher to understand and adhere to the appropriate tax rules.
Google is required by United States tax laws to collect certain tax-related information from you

You misunderstood my question I guess. I have a US TIN but I don't want to put it in my Google Adsense account yet until I earn at least $100.
I have setup my website and adsense, my question is would I generate income from adsense even without my TIN in my Google Account.

As far as I understand, Yes, you will be able to earn from it. However, to receive the earned income you'll have to submit tax info.
