Lately i have been hearing lots of negative remarks about adsense. It is true that they have the best ads & offer highest cpc cpm. But they seem to have become so obnoxious & full of hot air. I hear reports of accounts getting suspended or terminated a lot. Do these people get what they earned till that period ?

So here i am thinking , should i take the risk going with adsense or should i take the safer road with other ad companies which are offering good service too ?

i have two main sites, one with more than 1000-2000 unique visitors a day, and another with not so much traffic... I have almost no control over the first one since it is a image hosting site. Though the TOC says no adult images, some of the users post them anyway... What would be google's stand on this ? Would they classify the site as an adult site and terminate the account or would they be more reasonable ?

Which is the best CPM program that doesn't care if you have adult contents ?

Thanks for reading, awaiting your experiences with google & other suggestions/responses...

You'll make most of your money with Adsense, but you get banned....all your money is gone.

Unless they already paid you ;)

I use them, and I haven't had any problems. But then I haven't been cheating either.

There have been a few of my associates who have been banned by google when they reached payout :( these people are honest as they come (my associates)

I was banned by them over a year ago. I had a 2k + pending when they suspended. I pleaded with them to see what was wrong. They don't give you jack when they suspend you. Just say you have violated their TOS etc.. blah blah blah. Usually when they do that they don't send you money. I did get my 2K plus check though which makes you wonder why....

I've been using adsense for 2.5 years now and have never ran into such problems.

I've used bidvertiser on a few adult sites and not had any problems, although there ads/$ are not quite as good.

It's a possibility to setup image screening on your image hosting directory which responds by blocking the unique colours presented only on certain sections of the body.

I've been with Adsense since early '05 and have had no problems. It wouldn't be in Google's best interested in banning people willy nilly. Read the TOS and you'll be fine.

This is a common complaint from many people who make a lot of money from ppc companies. It would seem that when they start making too much money they are cut off !

I haven't made one, I am too scared to :nervous: There have been times I *nearly* have on my new Aus based site when an ad caught my attention, but caught myself in time when I realised where I was. I just typed the URL in my browser to view the site that had piqued my interest.

This is a site you may bookmark that lists a few scenarios that might be classed as "cheating".

I have clicked on one of my Yahoo ads. Not on purpose though. All we use here are laptops. The scroll pad sometimes doesn't go all the way over and when you lift up your finger and put it back down to scroll the rest, it clicks. I was scrolling over one of my pages, lifted finger, put finger back down, then it went to one of their ads.

What happened to me? Nothing. I sent them an email stating what I did, gave them the ad that was clicked with time stamp, etc... They said No worries they will take it out of my account and refund the advertiser. The Advertiser was the CIA :) which was funny. But none the less they have things in place for oppieeesss like I had. They know it happens, but if they see repeated clicks from your IP address you will get a slap.
