partition magic 8.02 doesn't like non-ascii filenames, and balks when chkdsk reports no errors. Anyone have similar experiences :confused4

I would avoid partition magic at any and all costs. We used to use it at work, and it corrupted more partition tables than any tool I've ever seen.

I have been using it for over a year and have no problems but I have used just normal filenames too.

I have used partition magic several times to adjust the sizes of my partitions when needed. I have never had any issues with it myself. Personally, I think it is an excellent piece of software.
