New RAM

Hey, when you put new ram in a computer, must you somehow install it? or does it just work by it's self?

For reference to other people, RAM does not need to be installed with any software, if it isn't working, it is either bad RAM or you bought the wrong kind. You may need to configure it in BIOS on a few occasions, but it hardly ever needs to be.
