Wrong.

The best drink in the world is rum & coke.

I have always favored a Vodka & Tonic with an extra lime. But I also enjoy a good Bloody Marry every now and then.

I'm too high class for beer. Beer is a cheap drink IMO.

Rum & Cokes are alright. Screwdrivers are 20x better though.

If it's got alcohol, I'll probably drink it.

Except boilermakers. You like boilermakers, Gayo?

Canuckkev

At the bar, a couple pitchers of beer hits you just right. But I can't drink a sixpack at home and reach a satisfactory drunken state. Rum and coke is alright.

funny story.

New Years Eve
Friend Shawn and I talking

Shawn: I am sophisticated. I got a Rolex on and a bottle of Champagne.
Justin: Dude, you got a FOLEX on, and a bottle of Cooks.

For those of you who don't know what Cooks is, it is a $3 USD bottle of Champagne. lol. really sophisticated I guess. haha

anyways, I just like alcohol.

I have to admit that I like not very strong drinks like rum and coke, Smirnoff and such. Jagermeister has also been a hidden passion of mine, along with the regulars such as whiskey, scotch, etc. But what can beat just plain beer.

I dunno if you guys ever tried one of these, but my favourite drink would have to be a ( i cant spell :( ) mohito, i tried it when on holiday with my dad in cuba, its like a homemade lemonade with rum mint and a little bit more sugar ( I think ) its got to be my favourite drink of all time, but problem is you dont notice how much youve had, a plain old beer is good in that respect. :P

dubzero13
January 4th, 2007, 19:37

heard of it, had it, and it is great. if none of you ever had a Jamaican 10 Speed, I definitely suggest one.

classier than beer, that's for sure.

beer is rather bottom-barrel for alcohol. I hate it. Though I don't mind indulging in the nastiest of the nasty for the sake of getting completely sloshed:

40oz of Labatt Blue Dry 10.1%. It's horrible. It's rat piss. It's just ugh... I hate it. But it's the only beer I ever drink.

Wojtek
January 4th, 2007, 23:02
That's cause you don't pick the right kind of beer.

If we drink beer, I only get heineken. You'll never see me with that Black Label 10% thing :p

Beer is good for chiling with friends, drinks are good for nice occasions :)

Daniel
January 4th, 2007, 23:45
But at $5.25 u can't go wrong with 10%. It's horrible, a six pack of quality beer won't get me anywhere.

Canuckkev
January 5th, 2007, 00:49
That's why the stuff from the tap is good. So smooth, so fresh, so good. Man, I need to head to the bar tomorrow. Kokanee Gold is my choice, cause you can get it anywhere round here.

So...alcohol...I was in the liquor store and bought some "absinth". I then came home to research "absinthe", and found out that the Czech absinth I bought is immitation crap. Is anyone an absinthe drinker?

Wojtek
January 5th, 2007, 01:59
I once purchased an absynth kit online after my friend told me he got some other stuff from them. The kit came with lots of spices, etc and the tujone psychoactive thing found in the real absynth.

4 days later It was ready, but I had to add some green food colorant because it didn't turn out green enough.

Off to the forest we went to try that thing. The results were not what I expected. The whole bottle got us more stoned then drunk, which is weird as the drink was based on a whole bottle of vodka. Maybe that was the desired effects? I'm not sure.

Next spring I'm planning to order some real one. I'll give it one more chance to impress me :)

Too high class for beer, but orange juice and crappy Smirnoff vodka is okay?

You're just drinking low class beer; that's the problem.

Find yourself a quality IPA and save the Milwaukee's Best for when you can't taste it anymore ;).

iBrightDev
January 8th, 2007, 01:14
i do thinnk some beer isnt very good, but there are some pretty tasty ones out there. yeah, it is cheap garbage compared to something like a grey goose, belvedere, or even crown royal, but hey, a decent ice cold beer just hits the spot sometimes. :)

anything american is typically garbage. and so is smirnoff. but its a step up from any beer worth buying(except for Heineken, that's worth it).

If I had my choice, I'd gone with Grey Goose or something.

and yeah smirnoff is bad straight.

Heineken is terrible.

American beer is awesome.

Icehouse! Whoo!

Nick
January 8th, 2007, 20:53
I hate how people say all American beer sucks.

Alright, well if you're stupid enough to think that Budweiser and the rest of the gang on the isle at Food Lion is the only beer that comes from America then you shouldn't be allowed to talk about beer.

There are so many awesome micro brews out there made right here in America out there that to generalize all American beers as bad is just ignorant.

Daniel
January 9th, 2007, 18:39
Don't get much American beer out here except Budweiser and Coors.

Regardless, I don't care for beer much. Heineken I find is good.
