I need a web programmer!

Hey guys this is my first post here it seems like a great site.

I really need a web programmer to work with me on a project iv had for a little while. It's new concept for a web page the thing is i have no idea how to programme it. Theres not to much to its its basically similar to yahoo answers and has a voting system for the best answer which will then be posted. Now there is a fair bit more to it and il let you in on the secret behind it if your interested in making it. I cant pay you up front but i can offer you 50/50 in profits which will be generated by adverts. It will pretty much be done on trust. It's just a really really good idea and i cant let it just burn like many other ideas. It would be perfect for some one who wants to build there portfolio up as its an exciting and original site. What langauge are you looking to program this in?

PHP/MYSQL, CGI, PERL, ASP, or ColdFusion?

I think its best to be done in PHP/MYSQL but i really don't no. Pretty much i have the idea and im not really any good with computers. It could prove to be a project that might earn a fair bit of many or just be an average site we really won't no till we try it.

No harm mate but ---- if you don't know even the way it should go give it up.

I just don't want to see this idea buried and then see that someone else is making a success out of it in a few years time. This is my last ditch effort with this idea. I will be the first to admit that i no nothing about web developing and thats why i came to this forum.

Basically im bringing the idea to the table and i need someone to bring developing skills to form a partnership.

You cant make a good website without a good idea and i can't make a good web site without a good programmer.

I think what Decker is saying is that ideas alone are not enough.
You gotta have a solid plan. Marketing, etc.

This is my first Internet venture. Im an inventor and im ust to real world products and dealings.

I often think outside the square and have numerous ideas and then i narrow it down to which ones i think have the most potential. At the moment i have no capital due to the cost of patents and product development but wat i do have is some time where i can work on the marketing anayliss and business plans/targets.

Basically im just putting it out there i have an idea for a web site and i am seeing if anyone is interested in developing it.

I know ideas arnt worth anything so i will restate my words i have a commercially viable concept if anybody is interested.
