Is cybertoad having downtime now ?

Anyone hosted with cybertoad experiencing any downtime today ? I am not able to open my forum hosted there, Just want to know if anyone else hosted there are experiencing any probs today ?

I believe amz is banned for whatever reason, for however long it is. Ask on their forums. Can't access that either? Check on a proxy.

i can access their forum and everything, it's just my site that is extremly slow when loading {and mostly doesn't load at all}. Wonder why ? Maybe one of their servers is down ? i am going to ask in their forums...

i think cybertoad is having downtimes, i am subscribed to siteuptime, and i got 4 mails of downtime...
and.. now.. server is down again :) well.. feeling sad about AMZ, and.. they dont have good support i think. no reply yet...

Cybertoad rox my sox. They aren't having any downtime. Atleast not on my site. I think its because i'm hosted with my own domain and not using their link and I personally requested the hosting. :D

My site is doing fine.

why dont you post your problems on thier forums? Maybe they can help you there.

says i broke there ToS but not that i know off, they didnt even email before they done it.

now i can't get into my ftp to move my site to another host.

plus there website wont load at all for me.

You break the TOS, they terminate your account, and don't give you the chance to backup your website. That is not only Cybertoad, but we do that aswell, along with many free and paid hosts.

You probably uploaded a file, because about 90% of the files available on the Internet, they've blocked for use.

Before I started reselling, I used Cybertoad, and got banned because I uploaded a proxy, that was never even unzipped from the ZIP file.

Actully all files from your site is placed in a cpanel zip. That your are able to retrive.

I am just unsure how you can contact AMZ if you do not have access to there forums.

Cybertoad Networks has not had any downtime anytime recently and in
fact the last downtime of any kind was more than a year ago and we
always maintain very near perfect 100% uptime over the past 10 years!

If you can't reach our site or any of the web accounts we host, then
there is something wrong with YOU and it is likely one of the
following reasons:

1. You have been banned from Cybertoad Networks

2. You are trying to connect using a proxy server

3. You made 10 failed login attempts within 5 minutes and got
your IP locked out from the entire network.

4. You are located in one of the places we have locked out from
hosting such as Nigeria for example which carries far too high
a ratio of bad users to good users.

5. You have a mis-configured firewall or security app on your end

6. Your ISP is having routing problems

Every single report I have seen over the past 10 years of people complaining
they cannot reach us and/or their site has been one of the above 6 issues
and ironically has absolutely NOTHING to do with us!

ajay_bhargav -- your account was suspended for extreme excessive
resource usage for both your protection and ours as server monitors
confirmed more than half the CPU, memory, and network resources
where you are provisioned being utilized from your account alone
which is the resource level normally used by more than 200 accounts
to reach anywhere close to the same level. This means you either
had a bad script running or were under a DoS attack condition and
either way, you need to be suspended. At that point, it is the user's
responsibility to contact us so we can research the matter.

tumble -- you are correct! we maintain permanent backup archive copies
of all sites we host or have ever hosted anytime in the past 10 years
and all sites are redundantly backed up daily and up to the minute by
four different tiers of backups systems which is far more than can be
found at any other host. There is no such thing as "deleted" with us.

justcdr -- you are the funniest here because your site was never actually
down at all whatsoever! You violated item #3 above namely using the
wrong FTP password too many times and got yourself locked out of the
network. Your site was actually still online and accessible to everyone
except yourself and all you needed to do is just simply contact support
at support@cybertoad.net to get your home IP unlocked again. If
you forget your password, you should contact support instead of trying
to brute force attack your own account! ;)

Actually we keep permanent backups of all accounts and those backups
are available on request even after an account has been terminated.

Putting items violating TOS policies inside ZIP files doesn't exclude you
from those policies which is definitely a mistake on your part.

However, we do usually grant second chances for those who talk to us.
