$18.95/month
5000 GB (5 TB) of Disk Space
2000 GB (2 TB) of Data Transfer/Month

This site is just too funny... If this is true I think they can host Google very easly.

Why is the disk space higher than the bandwith? Crazy...

And 5TB enough to host Google? I think not =) I know their pages are tiny, far less than a few kb's...but think of the uniques they get per day :)

Yes the plan is ridiculous but their support and professinalism (is this a real word?) is great.

They also allow file hosting and downloading in their plans, which really makes me think if their servers will really be able to maintain it.

Yeah, not big enough for Google, when you have over a billion pages, it gets kind of big, besides, they use hundreds of servers worldwide.

These people will spoil this business . dont yu thinnk so?

How can they manage such cheap rates .. i think they may be owning datacenters of their own..

Dan

They are just out to make a quick buck and forget about the value of the clients.

Seems like their serious  silly but serious, banking on no one eve using it.

PS imagine drawing attention to another host and (OP) offer $5.00 - 300GB BW & 15GB DS in your sig  (no offence Super Wolves :classic2: )

Various levels of overselling :confused4 but some do go to extremes :evilb:

Wow a huge plan, they probably own a datacenter. But still, more b/w than space is weird as space costs more. I bet I know whats next, 10 tb of space and 5 tb of b/w reseller XD

Other way around. Bandwidth costs more than space

anyone happen to notice their storage array is only 2tb? click on their network simulation to see.

Offering 5tb space is really no different than offering 50+gb storage that many people offer here, if a few people used that on their dedicated celeron unit or fancy ebay reseller account they would be ruined. Most people on average use about 10-20mb storage and 1-2gb transfer per site.

They are attracting the 'less educated' hosting crowd who associate massive space and bandwidth with a big booming business and a speedy service.

Not to mention they require people to pay annually and a good portion of those users will abandon their plans and not even use their account, also it leaves them only paying merchant fees once and not recurring each month.

The people that want to stuff their 5tb account with all they can will just be killed off via a TOS violation by consuming 'excess space' these are the select few that keep bouncing from these type of hosts all the time and wonder why they never get good service.

If anyone took any time to read their TOS:

10.2 - To avoid unfair resource distribution at no time shall Customer use more than 15 simultaneous processes by and with any of Customer's applications and not upload any file larger than 10 megabyte. All images in a Customer's hosting account must be linked to from pages within the Customer's hosting account. It is a violation of this agreement if Customer uses this account as merely an image, sound or file library. Binary files such as images, video and sound (i.e MP3, WAV, RA, GIF, JPG but not limited to those file extensions) may only account for a maximum of 50% of Customer's total bandwidth usage before customer must upgrade to a higher performance solution.

Glob@t are the DIRTIEST of the oversellers, I remember back when they had that damn clock on there site, that said this offer ends in ___hours, buy now!. I did "buy now" not reading the TOS or anything (I was a newbie back then and there weren't many oversellers so I didn't know OK!) and the next day after I read those horrific rules. I will give them one thing though, they honored their 30-day guarantee at least.

I'd like to know what their allowed CPU usage per account is. A plan like that would go like hot cakes as far as greedy newbies are concerned. They'd more than likely be booted for hogging cpu resources before they reach 1/10 of the allotted storage and bandwidth

Edit: I see striker answered my question while I was posting. Anyways their TOS confirms you may as well not waste your time setting up a large download site which I'm guessing they're relying on greedy newbies to do.

looks like they can remove any file any time . Nice TOS :(
