Is there any blog/tutorial script beside the ones at hotscripts that are easy changable? Most of them are exaggerated big .tpl files which makes it hard to edit the design. In most cases you have to change it online, even when you use dreamweaver like I do.
So is there any of those around? Instead of TPL files with big/massive codes is there a script page with those kinds of scripts. With only xhtml/html as design files instead of wordpress, phpbb, scripts which are free but use "tpl" files and are hard to intergrate with your corrent website.
Sure even if some people can design phpbb/wordpress easy, I would like to find smaller scripts though and not as big as those ones, eg something like this tutorial script:

Have you tried Cutenews? I've seen a few that use it for blogs and news. All you have to do is add it as an include in a php document. So you can make news and blog elements look pretty much any way you want them to. You can even change the way the items display on your page using html or css to format the content.
Its a pretty simple script, I've used it before and it works great with custom page designs.

Ok thanks for the suggestions, more are always welcome :)
Don't you guys think its a bit exaggerated to make those tpl files? I know they wanna be safe so people don't remove their copyright text but you can open the tpl files in notepad and do that anyways..
So much or less I don't see the point of them.

Don't try that with cutenews, requires a license fee to remove the publicly viewable copyright in the footer of your news document. Otherwise, its free as long as the publicly viewable copyright message is in the footer of the include.
Its a good script, so its worth the trade of their text link and copyright in the footer of the include. Least I've always been pleased with it.

You are not allowed to do that in any script at all.. Not even free designs..
The copyright should always be intact.
The coder are afraid of people removing their copyright that's why they are using TPL files and I simply said that people can remove the copyright anyways in TPL files, so I dont see the Point in using them.
But I never said that I will remove the copyright text I just said that I want to redesign the scripts easier that's all.
Do you understand now? :P
