What would you recommend for our free web host?

Hello. I am an administrator at Webb360.com (http://webb360.com/). We offer free web hosting on our site, but we don't receive as many free hosting clients as we would like. We would like some feedback from you guys to help improve our free web hosting and make it more attractive. (i.e. do we need more hosting plans? more space? less posting?)

To be honest, there is just too much on your index page. It's too difficult to find anything about free hosting.

If you want more free hosting customers, you need to use free hosting as the focal point of your page. Right now you have too much other info on your page. You do have a link to your free hosting in your side menu, but its not what I would call visible to the average person that comes across your page looking for free hosting.

You need to do something on your page related to your free hosting service that catches the eye a lot better. I had to really look at your page thoroughly before I could see anything about free hosting.

Also, On your free hosting page, you need to add a link directing potential customers to your forum and what category or thread to request it in instead of expecting them to look for it.

People don't use webb360, mainly because people don't know it exists. You just need to put time and effort in marketing your site.

I'd say it was a Joomla site more than anything after a 15 second look over, as in templates and lots of ads, but not hosting.

Yea the focal point of this site is the ads not the service you are providing :)

I think the site looks great but its geared towards gaming, also clicking on the ads takes you aways from the site, consider them opening in a new window.

I agree with all the statements above and my advice would be:

1) although I do love the site i feel the colours dont do anything for me, especially the balck used to colour the boxes, maybe consider lightening up your theme.

2) I feel the advert is too pretruding and kind of draws my attention from your site. Perhaps you should move the advert to inbetween the latest news posts or into the empty sidebar in the left.

3) Then replace the free space (Where the advert was before) with a nice picture and details of you most popular hosting package, or a new package/promotion package you offer with the details of it and a link to more detailed info
