Hey,

I may be interested in running a quality simple free hosting site offering something along the lines of:

Cpanel
PHP
Mysql
99.9% Uptime (or your money back :D)
ftp
100mb space
1000mb bandwidth

I would be willing to offer more to those people who have a large amount of traffic however there would be 1 behind popup ad for each visitor to the site (which pays for fees)

Any good?

I think he is referring to you, because I did not do anything to spam.

anyhow, back on topic :P i think your plans would be great for a lot of people, however, i am not sure here would be your best advertising arena, as crazily, a lot of people here seem to expect more :)

Thanks for the feedback AMC.

I do know people are greedy, but as i said if people have a site that has alot of traffic and exceeds the bandwidth ill happily increase it as it will make me more money :D

dont seem to work as a general rule round here, I suppose you could have a one size fits all plan, but beware of that, and its a complete no no for paid hosting

For a 100 MB space, it fits to the need of building a personal website, so I think 1GB bandwidth is OK.

Anyway, SiteBuyer wrote 100mb which is about 13 MB. You can store some html files on such hosting.

:-)

When do you plan to offer a real offer?

Sitebuyer, Good Luck.

I notice most people really do not like ads on their sites, So maybe you will find it hard to gain users.

But the package you discribed is good, 99% of them wont use that anyway.

Not many will actually get this plan as popunders are really irritating... to both the visitor and owner. Many visitors can just get chased away by the popunders. It is not a good idea to put popunders.

Other than that, your plan is pretty good. The space and bandwidth are enough for any decent site.
