Hello

What software should be installed to allow flash and other media streaming?

For flash, you don't need anything special but the users of the site that the flash file will be on will need to have the flash plugin installed.

For other media streaming such as online radio etc you would need to have a SHOUTcast server.

For embedded video -> you would want ffmpeg and all it's plugins and codecs as well, hope that helps.
